Venus
Venus is the second planet from the Sun. It is named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty. As the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after the Moon, Venus can cast shadows and can be, on rare occasion, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
Venus is sometimes referred to as the Earth’s sister planet due to their similar size and mass.Venus does not have any moons or rings. Venus is nearly as big as the Earth with a diameter of 12,104 km. Venus is thought to be made up of a central iron core, rocky mantle and silicate crust.
